Thank you for down-loading Old Fashioned Clock for Windows.
Old Fashioned Clock is like any other clock that existed before these new
electronic clocks. That's right! It has to be winded-up once every day.
It will even go off few minutes every now and than. To keep the clock face
nice and neat, it should be wiped so and so.
Please read the following instructions carefully to take proper care of
the Old Fashioned Clock.

Hardware:
80386 or higher machine
4MB or more RAM memory
Software:
Windows 3.1

KENCLOCK.EXE Execution file

4. Installation ****************************************************************
1. Decompress KENCLK.LZH file in a directory.
2. Execute KENCLOCK.EXE file from the Program Manager or the File Manager.
NOTE:
To execute Old Fashioned Clock every time Windows is started, it is
recommended that Old Fashioned Clock for Windows icon be placed in the
StartUp group in the Program Manager.
5. Customization ***************************************************************
To customize Old Fashioned clock, click the right mouse button on the clock,
or press the [Ins] key.

Double-click the left mouse button or press the [Esc] key.
6. Signal & Alarm **************************************************************
Click the right mouse button and select [Set Alarm].
Signal Empty: Do not signal, X: Sound alarm,
Filled: Sound hour
Alarm Empty: Do not alarm, X: Sound alarm,
Filled: Also sound passed alarms
Enter month, data, and time (24 hour clock)
Timer (1-99 min) Select either 1, 3, or 5 minute count down timer.
WAV file Enter the WAV file directory and file name.
(up to 30 characters are allowed.)
Message Enter up to 50 characters to display when an alarm
goes off.
7. WARNINGS ********************************************************************
Followings are not bugs!
a) The clock stopped
Check to make sure the clock is woundd up.
Click the right mouse button on the clock.
Select [Wind].
Choose the [Wind] button.
The clock must be wound up once every day.
b) The seconds hand moves in 2 seconds interval
The clock must be wound up.
Click the right mouse button on the clock.
Select [Wind].
Choose the [Wind] button.
c) Time is off
Time must be adjusted.
Click the right mouse button on the clock.
Select [Adjust time].
Set the clock to the proper time.
d) There is some dirt on the clock face
The clock face must be wiped.
Click the right mouse button on the clock.
Select [Wipe].
8. Hidden Option ***************************************************************
A single wind of the clock may be extended to last for a week by the following
setting:
a) Open a text editor.
b) Open the \WINDOWS\KENCLOCK.INI file.
c) Insert "WeekNeji=1" in the [KenClock] section.
9. Distribution ****************************************************************
Old Fashioned Clock for Windows may be freely distributed if the following
conditions are obeyed:
1. If it is to be copied to another forum or to another distribution
channel, please contact the developer to let us know exactly
where it is to be copied. We will need this information to
maintain and upgrade Old Fashioned Clock for Windows at all
locations.
